Bad Management or Bad Marketing?

From the New York Times Bits Blog:

Glenn A. Britt, the company’s chief executive, said in a group interview on Friday that the challenge for digital video was that there was no simple way to get Internet-based video onto the television screen. He wasn’t familiar with AirPlay.

“I’m not sure I know what AirPlay is,” he said, though he noted that he was an enthusiastic Apple customer.

So either Apple has done a poor job educating its customers or this CEO needs to do some better market research.

Apple is annoucing the iPad 3 at an event on March 7. Before even reading the note provided by Apple, one might stop and take note of the chosen App icons being displayed. The Maps, Calendar, and the Keynote App icons all point out the details of the upcoming event.

To the normal person they see just a finger touching an iOS device(proably the new iPad 3), but for those willing to stop and observe the details you are given so much more to enjoy.
